200ºC Max R2R Tape Hot Rolling Press for Dry Powder Coating Processing - MSK-THR-150

MSK-THR-150 is a 200 mm width Roll to Roll Tape Hot Rolled (THR) machine to make the flexible solid film by polymer composited dry powder.  It is an excellent tool to explore flexible film for cathode electrodes of Li-Ion batteries and thermal electric sheets.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Processing	Vibration container with a narrow slot to dispense dry powder ( Usually polymer composited) to a support substrate ( usually Aluminium foil or Myler film ) uniformly. The substrate carries the dispensed polymer composited dry powder to pass-through 200oC Max. hot rolling press with digital pressure display  and digital thickness  adjustable, and  to  form a solid film with the sporting substrate Two servo motors drive the bottom and top rollers independently, which allows to roll electrodes at either the same speed or different speeds. The supporting substrate can be peeled off  or laminated  by multi-layer  by JTFM-380,

Warnings	Never roll materials with hardness > 50HRC Multi-step thickness calendering needed: while calendering the sample sheet, make each calendering decrement of 0.02mm compared with the sheet's original thickness Must clean the roller surface for each rolling and use acetone to clean and lubricate when not in use to avoid corrosion

Application Notes	In order to make good tape hot rolling ( THR), the composite dry powder shall be mixed well by centrifugal mixer ( Pic. 1) and then jet mill (Pic.2) The film may be pressed by a high-pressure rolling machine (MSK-H2300-E)  again to densify  (Pic. 2) The supporting substrate can be peeled off  or laminated  by multi-layer  by JTFM-380, (Pic. 3) Two hot rolling press with R2R is available upon request at the extra cost.
